Why does Syro need Screen Time access?

Syro uses Apple’s Screen Time / Family Controls APIs so you can choose which apps should be watched for longer sessions. Syro does not read content inside other apps.

Why does Syro need notifications?

Syro uses local notifications for gentle check-ins and for letting you know when your daily reflection is ready.

Does Syro upload my data?

No. Syro is designed to work locally on your device. There is no account, cloud sync, analytics SDK, ad SDK, or external AI service.

Why do I not see a reflection immediately?

Daily reflections are intentionally held until later in the day so Syro has enough context to create something more useful. Weekly and monthly views reflect the current calendar week or month.

Why does Screen Time behavior require a real iPhone?

Apple’s DeviceActivity and Screen Time APIs do not fully work in Simulator. Real-device testing is required.
